First haircut after lockdown, what a relief! Great conversation and trim as always. Felt extremely safe with the handwash, dividers, disposable PPE etc, Rick has gone all out in our interest! Stay safe mate!
Just had my post-lockdown haircut and, as expected, Rick is taking all necessary precautions to ensure that customers like me feel safe and reassured. Even wearing a mask did not dampen his usual banter! Thanks and see you soon.

I’ve never really been comfortable with going to the barbers until I started going to Rick’s Place. Great conversation, witty to boot and a true artisan of the craft. With the recent coronavirus issues, Rick seems to have taken all relevant precautions to ensure there’s no risks while getting a trim, much appreciated!
I’ve never really been comfortable with going to the barbers until i started going to Rick’s Place. Rick has a knack for making you feel at ease, whether it is with his knack for conversation or his array of good (and bad) jokes. More importantly though he is an artisan of the craft and comes highly recommended!
Really reassured today when I went in for a haircut. Rick is taking coronavirus very seriously – everything was disinfected and I felt if I stayed there any longer, he’d have sprayed me too! Cheers, see you in a few weeks, when my hair grows back!

What a great place. Rick is traditional barber with great banter and constant jokes. He made me feel most welcome and gave me a great haircut at a great price.
I’ve been coming here for years now and he has got to be the greatest barber I have ever went to.
I never go anywhere else. Why should I, when I can get a great haircut and all my insults in one place. It’s a tradition. I always leave thinking “I’ll get him back next time… 🙂

Only down side are the future Lord Mayor’s choice of jokes, that needs working on…

been going to good old Rick for about 15 years now and he never fails to produce a good cut, at a good price (old school barbershop)
Been a customer for about 7 years now. First and foremost this guy is really good at cutting hair – he really should be charging 3 to 4 times what he does – he is that good. On top of this he a really nice guy to talk to and has a memory of an elephant – so you could go back six months later and he will carry on the conversation you had last time. Have a haircut there – trust me you will not be disappointed…
Been a customer for over 16 years, and in that time Rick has been a constant in a changing and complex world – great value and no nonsense. I wish all businesses were like this, life would be so much better.
